Careers

Join our growing team that is working to provide access to an equitable public education for every Seattle student.

Director, Right Now Needs Fund

The Right Now Needs Fund is an Alliance for Education program that works at the individual school level to support the immediate basic needs of Seattle students and families. The Right Now Needs Fund Director leads the design and implementation of the Fund, ensuring that basic needs support gets to the Seattle Public Schools students and families who need it most effectively and efficiently. The Director works in partnership with Alliance staff, district leaders, schoolhouse leaders, community members and Amazon partners to build awareness about this resource, design an efficient program and process, and ensure the Fund is leveraged with integrity and efficacy.

Accounting and Payables Lead

The Accounting and Payables Manager is responsible for all aspects of payables and will follow and design processes that assure timely and accurate payments. Alongside the Finance team, this role will participate in ongoing analysis, documentation, oversight and implementation of financial policies and procedures. This role will also support the general work of the Finance and Operations Team, including data entry, financial reporting and account reconciliations.

Vice President of Impact

The Vice President of Impact is a new role designed to sustain, deepen and expand the Alliance’s work to advance racial equity and educational justice in Seattle Public Schools. The VP of Impact will lead the Alliance’s programmatic strategy, community collaborations and impact data capacity in support of Seattle students. The VP of Impact will also play a leadership role in defining and strengthening organizational culture at the Alliance, alongside other members of the Alliance Leadership Team.
