Manager of Recruitment and Retention, Seattle Teacher Residency

The Manager of Recruitment and Retention will be responsible for the overall planning, development and implementation of the Seattle Teacher Residency (STR) recruitment strategy and activities. The position will work closely with the STR team as well as partners University of Washington College of Education, Seattle Education Association, and Seattle Public Schools to develop strategic recruiting efforts, managing program retention, and facilitating admissions process. Additional responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, coaching residents to ensure their academic success, and supporting graduates who need instructional support.

Program Coordinator, Seattle Teacher Residency

The Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing key aspect of the program, ensuring effective systems to support the success of STR program residents. This role serves as a knowledgeable resource person for resident, collaborating program leadership to support residents in their field teaching experience as well as in coursework. The position will be responsible for projects like tracking and updating resident and graduate data, scheduling logistics and registration for alumni programming, and coordinating information and logistics for current residents.
