7.12.07 Alliance for Education recommits to Seattle Public Schools Middle School Initiative with a $150,000 grant.
The $150,000 grant comes from the Alliance’s John Stanford Endowment Fund, established in 1998 following the death of Seattle Public Schools’ Superintendent John Stanford. Seattle Public Schools is increasing its own financial support to the initiative.

3.28.07 Alliance for Education Board of Directors unanimously endorses school levy "Simple Majority" legislation. The legislation, approved by the state house and pending in the senate, would help children across the state of Washington.
