Pam MacEwan is responsible for communications, public policy and advocacy, Medicare and Medicaid, and Consumer Governance. She has been with Group Health since 1995 and was a Commissioner with the Washington Health Services Commission before coming to Group Health.
MacEwan is a steering committee member for the King County Health Action Plan. In addition to serving as chair for the Seattle Alliance for Education, she is vice chair of 826 Seattle. She also is on the policy committee of the Washington State Hospital Association Governors Advisory Task Force on Health Reform. MacEwan holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Evergreen State College and a master's degree in arts/teaching from Brown University. |
