Entrances and Accessibility

As a historic school, the main and south entrance to El Centro de la Raza have stairs to enter the building. The north side of the building has a wheelchair accessible entrance and elevator to the tech lab on the 3rd floor (#310). The south entrance is accessible through Plaza Roberto Maestas. The north entrance is accessible through the parking lot side into the basement level floor.

Parking and Transit

We recommend attendees to arrive via public transit. The venue is accessible via Sound Transit Link light rail and less than one block from the Beacon Hill Station. King County Metro lines 36, 60 and 107 are also one block from the venue. Street Parking is available throughout the neighborhood adjacent to El Centro De La Raza but is limited and restricted to 2 hours.

This is more than an event—it’s a call to action. Our schools need community rooted leaders like you. RSVP today and step up for equity in education!

Community Rooted Leader: someone who is deeply connected to and invested in the well-being and development of their community; someone who is informed by lived experience, empathy, and a long-term commitment to the place and people they represent.
