Inside the Newsroom: Education Media Panel & Networking
May 27, 2026
In partnership with the Public Relations Society of America Puget Sound Chapter, join us for a timely conversation with education reporters as they unpack the stories and narratives that shape our schools and communities.
Education journalism often mirrors the most pressing issues in society, from youth mental health and enrollment shifts to school funding, equity efforts, workforce challenges, and the rise of AI and edtech. Panelists will share how they navigate reporting in a rapidly changing media landscape, what makes an education story stand out, and how they balance data, student voice, and community impact.
Whether you work with school districts, edtech, higher education, or youth‑serving organizations, this session will offer fresh insight into today’s education narratives and how communicators can help support accurate, meaningful public understanding.
