Prior to joining the Alliance for Education, Shane was with the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington in a grants role. Shane brings over eight years of grants and development experience from the nonprofit and higher education sectors. Shane completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University in Florida. When outside of work Shane enjoys spending time with family and his dog, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and trying new coffee shops.
