Right Now Needs Fund

Petaki is the Director of the Right Now Needs Fund. She leads the implementation of the funds which were designed to support the urgent and basic needs of Seattle Students. Her 20-year career includes positions in recruitment, human resources, finance, operations, and direct service. Prior to joining the Alliance, Petaki was the Senior Finance and Operations Manager for City Year, and is an AmeriCorps alum.

Petaki grew up in Seattle and on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana where she is an enrolled tribal member. She is a graduate of Seattle Public Schools and a mother of one college student. Petaki grew up in the Beacon Hill neighborhood and now lives in West Seattle. She is an active member of her Seattle community and works with the Coalition to End Urban Indigenous Homelessness.

In her spare time, Petaki enjoys scary movies, spending time with friends and family, beading and learning to play chess.
