Writers Workshop
On July 12, 2007, Alliance for Education announced that it is recommitting its support of the Readers and Writers Workshop, an innovative approach to teaching writing embraced in Seattle Public Schools. The $150,000 grant comes from the Alliance’s John Stanford Endowment Fund, established in 1998 following the death of Seattle Public Schools’ Superintendent John Stanford.
