Success for All Students: Exploring Career and Technical Educational Opportunities
A summit exploring the intersection of business, education, and labor
Thank you for making our first summit a success!
The Alliance for Education, Seattle Public Schools, and the Seattle Community College District deeply appreciate your support and participation in this event.

A highlight of the summit was a panel of Seattle Public Schools graduates who have benefited from career and technical education. Panelists pictured above are Harry Wallace, Dan Magden (Nathan Hale), Brian Dobson (Ingraham), Allen Austin (Rainier Beach), Taurence Salter (Rainier Beach), Runequea Ashley (West Seattle High School), and in front, Seattle Public Schools Manager of Career and Technical Education Programs Shep Siegel.
Thank you for your feedback on the summit. Your responses shared how much you valued the event. We are committed to continuing the conversation. Stay tuned for details about the next summit, which will be held during the 2008-09 school year.
Here are some comments from the evaluations we received:
“Keynote was outstanding! Panel discussion, excellent! Table discussions very good! Event organization, great! Overall, insightful”
