academic achievement for all children in Seattle Public Schools.

J. Shan Mullin, 2011 Alliance Emeritus Board Chair
Shan Mullin is a strong supporter for improving the educational opportunities of all students in Seattle. Shan, a partner with Perkins Coie’s International Business practice, has more than 45 years of experience representing clients in international business transactions, joint ventures, technology licensing and franchising, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. His leadership roles in the education sector include: co-founder of the Alliance for Education (Board Chair 1998-1999), co-founder of Schools First and leadership roles in numerous Seattle school levy and bond campaigns. Shan has also served as the Board Chair for other nonprofits, including: United Way of King County, Leadership Tomorrow, Municipal League of King County, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. |
